Brittany + Justin

Airport Hanger Engagement Session

Oh my goodness, I can’t believe it’s been almost a year since I posted a blog! I’ve been so deep in the trenches of shooting and motherhood that it has fallen on the back burner but I have so much work to share. I hope someday I can go back and catch up but first I have been dying to share this recent engagement session with Brittany and Justin.

When I first talked to Brittany on the phone I knew she was my people and we would be a great fit. I could not be more excited that she and Justin picked me to capture their winter wedding at Cornman Farms this December.

From the second she first mentioned using an airplane hanger as our engagement session location I was all in! Not only was the location unique, but it was also meaningful to them. I really played with the idea of this location being subtle, with hints of where we may be but not all in your face. In the end, I could not love them and these images more and I think it turned out to be pure magic.

So thankful to have met these two, we had so much fun on this shoot and I hope you enjoy!

Catherine + Han

Ann Arbor Engagement Session

University of Michigan's Campus // Law Quad, Diag, Stadium

These two are going take your breath away! I remember feeling the same way after turning the corner at the Law Quad on the University of Michigan's Campus and seeing Catherine for the first time in her stunning white dress. Catherine and Han had a clear vision for their engagement session and I was so happy to be the one to capture it. I wish them the very best with their wedding this December in Taiwan!

Lisa + Reid

Zingerman's Cornman Farms Spring Engagement Session

Earlier this year I teamed up with Zingerman's Cornman Farms to give away a free engagement session and Lisa and Reid's proposal story below was the winner! We had so much fun walking around the farm's grounds and getting know each other. I wish them both the best on their upcoming October wedding!

I was 99% certain he was going to propose on Valentine’s Day. He said I needed to hurry home after work and was wearing a nice sweater when i got there and then took me out to the wood for a walk...but never proposed. He didn’t even get me a card or flowers! All week long I was on pins and needles wondering why he was waiting then the following Saturday on another walk in the woods he proposed (even after I was complaint about having the wrong shoes on for the walk) and had his brother and his brother’s gf hiding behind a tree snapping photos. He planned a surprise engagement party with both of our families after.
